Mobile Cart Guidelines

The cart is very heavy and expensive. Please do not have elementary or middle school students move the cart and if a high school student is sent to move it please accompany him/her in the process. I recommend moving the cart with two people when moving between buildings, it would be easy to have a ‘runaway cart’ on one of the ramps.

The cart resides in room 203 needs to remain plugged in to the wall outlet in order for the laptops to remain charged for usage.

Morning Check Out:
Unplug both cables prior to moving the cart.
Please pick up the cart during homeroom and return the cart during lunch period.
Plug both cables in when returning the cart.

Afternoon Check Out:
Unplug both cables prior to moving the cart.
Please pick up the cart during lunch and return the cart after school.
Plug both cables in when returning the cart.

NetSupport School Tutor:
The laptop labeled L1901 has the NetSuppport School Tutor software available on it. This software is a Learning Management System (LMS) and can be used to monitor and control the other laptops in the Mobile Lab. Please schedule a time for training if you intend to use the software.

Class Management:
Assume about 30 minutes usable class time if using the mobile lab due to setup and cleanup time during the class period.

Trouble With the Lab:
If a laptop has trouble, please do not try to fix it, just pull out another one and let me know which one gave trouble. I will work on it as soon as I can.
